Apprise in the UN Innovation Network!

Apprise has been added to the UN Innovation Network, a platform that registers innovation projects from different United Nations entities, countries and innovation areas.

Apprise is one of the several innovations contributing for SDG 8, particularly SDG 8.7, which consists of taking immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labour, end modern slavery and human trafficking.

On the project description, we can read that:

Apprise aims to close the data gap on human trafficking and forced labour by enabling the collection of high-quality data to create responsive policy. This project seeks to contribute to the anti-human trafficking 4 P’s approach by creating policy recommendations for more rigorous processes of victim identification on the prevention pillar, and informing other anti-trafficking pillars such as prevention, prosecution and partnership.
